Being a non runner herself, she took up the challenge and after a training period of 1 month with Milind Soman and the Bengaluru runners, she actually completed the run successfully.
The promotional activities at Forum mall for the same started 5 weeks prior to the main run which attracted crowds in 100’s to come forward and support Pinkathon in every way possible. The Pink Art, Beer run and Treadathon had 200+ people participate in them voluntarily to spread awareness and get trained for the run at the same time.
