•The run witnessed over 6500 women who took part enthusiastically in the first edition of the Pinkathon in this city.
•Additionally the run witnessed a squad 12 mothers with their babies led by Dr Krishnan, 10 cancer survivors, 20 Visually Impaired girls from Adventures beyond barriers (NGO), as well as a group of 20 Hearing impaired girls from Ashray Akruti(NGO) who participated across all three categories 3k, 5k and 10k.
•The run had participants as young as 7 years and as old as 75 years.
